In order to preserve the richness of the sea and industry for future generations, the Ainan Fisheries Cooperative actively utilizes the Fisheries Eco-Label certification and works with a wide range of producers, from large producers of sea bream, which are among the top producers in Japan, to small and medium-sized producers, who agree with the certification.
Participating operators in this initiative comply with the number of fish ponds, the number of fish farmed, and the stocking density for each fishing ground, while keeping in mind sustainable aquaculture.

Transparency of MEL certified producers

Transparency of MEL certified producers

We provide stable shipments of full-size sea bream throughout the year, mainly from Yasutaka Fisheries and Usa Fisheries, which boast the nation's top-class sea bream production scale as a single producer.
Because we are the largest producer of farmed sea bream in Japan, we are able to provide a stable supply throughout the year. We keep records of the sea bream cultivation, including the growing environment and conditions of the sea bream, as well as the location of feed and feeding history, and we attach a certificate of history to customers who request it.
